Bogota, Mar 4 (Entravision) .- The Iberoamerican Theater Festival of Bogota (SPECIAL GUEST), to be held next April, you will have ten avant-garde works that emphasize the use of video and multimedia as well as the themes that revolve around conflict, the immigration and peace, reported today the organizers.

The 14th edition of the Festival Iberoamericano will be held from 4 to 20 of next April with the participation of companies from 25 countries, and With Brazil as a special guest.
among the directors who will come to the country with the sample are the Lebanese Wajdi Mouawad, the Argentine Mariano Pensotti animator and the acclaimed south african William Kentridge.
In addition to this, they will be companies such as the collective Utvalgte of Norway, the Finnish WHS and the Handspring Puppet Company, recognized as the best grouping puppeteer of the world.
“The idea was to be able to find a sample that will represent the forefront since the dramaturgy, the mise-en-scene, and on the use of multimedia”, added Quesada, who is also director at the festival of the works “stinks” and “Voice”, both with ticket office depleted.
“It stinks”, inspired by the work of Agatha Christie, Alfred Hitchcock, stands as a critique of the loss of identity of Immigrants, individualism and the solitude.

Quiroga assured EFE that mounts one of the most avant-garde in regard to the use of multimedia in the scenario is “love story”, the Theater Cinema In Chile, based on the novel by the French Regis Jauffret, which makes a mixture “incredible” between video, animation and comic.
Closing the sample are the parts “Buchner, the wound” of the Colombian Theater West, and “Vanitas from libellum”, of the group The fifth of the Wolf, that experience will offer a “revolutionary” with multimedia presentations that integrate dance, real-time video, “video-mapping”, physical interaction and original music live.
