Oakland police tell KTVU the suspect who allegedly shot a woman near the Alameda County administration building Friday morning has peacefully surrendered.
Cedric Webb, 55, surrendered to police around 3:30 p.m. Friday.
The woman, who was taken to a hospital in stable condition, was shot in front of the Oasis Restaurant and Bar at 135 12th St. shortly after 8 a.m., police said.
The restaurant is across the street from the county administration building and also is near the Rene C. Davidson Courthouse.
A police source told KTVU the woman was headed to the courthouse for temporary restraining order hearing against Webb when he drove up and shot her multiple times.
