The San Jose Sharks hockey team celebrated their annual ‘Holiday Assist’ party which brought together San Jose Sharks players and staff to help those less fortunate in the community.
San Jose Sharks players and staff shared the holiday season with approximately 40 underprivileged families in the community as hosts of the party. Each family chosen received gifts of clothing, toys and other necessities.
Event festivities included ice-skating with “S.J. Sharkie Claus” at Sharks Ice at San Jose, holiday arts and crafts, cookie decorating, a photo booth, and more.
Members of the Sharks roster in attendance included Joe Thornton, Patrick Marleau, Logan Couture, and more.
The event was put on be the Sharks Foundation that states they’re “dedicated to enhancing the lives of youth and families in our community with an emphasis in the areas of Education, Health and Safety, and Character Development.”
